Join us for a Special AOC Maple Leaf Chapter Presentation and Discussion Panel with Guest Subject Matter Expert Speakers from DND and Mr. Antonino “Nino” Amoroso, Director, Northeast Region, AOC International (Please see Mr. Amoroso’s detailed bio below).

Time: 1:30 p.m. for lunch / Presentations and panel from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

We are pleased to offer free tickets for the first 10 AOC members to register by 5 pm on Friday 29th April. After that, tickets are $50 each. The ticket price includes attendance for the AOC panel and a networking lunch upon arrival.

Antonino “Nino” Amoroso
Director, Northeast Region, AOC International

Mr. Amoroso is the Director of the Northeast Region, AOC, and the President of the Patriots’ Roost Chapter, Association of Old Crows (AOC), with responsibility for the New England area. In his over 33 years of involvement with the AOC Mr. Amoroso has been the chairperson of various activities and committees, including chairing symposia at the chapter, national, and international level.

Mr. Amoroso, a fully certified senior intelligence officer and APDP Level III program manager,  has over 41 years of  government and industry experience within the Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR), information operations, targeting & geospatial,  and electronic warfare communities where he has spearheaded new initiatives and directed the procurement of Air Force, joint systems, special operations capabilities, counter-narcotics centers, coalition, command and control networks,  aerial ground surveillance systems, and the rapid acquisition of critical technologies. In his current and past positions he has had government and corporate responsibility for the planning, identification, and execution of programs within the C4ISR area.

He has held government leadership positions up to the system program office and division level.  Mr Amoroso has also represented corporate organizations to senior government and industry.  Focus areas including the U.S. Air Force, the U.S. Intelligence Community, Battle Management, Aerial Ground Surveillance Systems, Battle Control Systems, International C4ISR programs, and Homeland Security (HLS). Mr. Amoroso has an extensive operational background and has worked at all levels of intelligence from collection to applications. He has had extensive experience and has led efforts in the areas of collection management and operations; indications and warning analysis at SECDEF level; development and delivery of special operations capabilities; counter drug/counter terrorism development and delivery of capabilities; and liaison and training activities in the areas of joint and combined combat coordination/intelligence operations.

Mr. Amoroso holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the Catholic University of America and a Master of Science degree from the University of Southern California. He received his commission in 1976 through the ROTC program.   He is also a graduate of the Air War College, Federal Executive Institute, and programs within the Defense Intelligence College and Defense Acquisition University. In addition to military and civil service awards, including the Air Force Meritorious Civilian Service Medal, the Air Force Exceptional Civilian, and the Harold M. Wright Award for Outstanding Civilian Achievement and Service, Mr. Amoroso has received numerous professional organizational awards.  They include the AOC Life Achievement Award, Clark Fiester Command and Control Warfare Award, the Pirandello Lyceum Government Civilian of the Year Award, the AFCEA Distinguished Service to the Intelligence Community Award, the AOC Distinguished Service Award (two time recipient), the U.S. Air Force Chief of Staff Volunteer Excellence Award, and the Hal Gershanoff Silver Medal for Electronic Warfare and Information Operations.
