Maple Leaf Chapter’s Legacy Since its Inception in 1981

1986 Our Chapter’s 1st Honorary Chapter Member – MGEN Larry A Ashley C – Presented by President Mike Gale (L) and LCol Manfred Bertelmann (R)

The Maple Leaf Chapter was established to promote the exchange of new ideas and information, and the dissemination of new research and knowledge in the fields of Electronic Warfare and Information Operations throughout Canadian government, industry and academia.

This is accomplished through advanced technology conferences and symposia, and publications (classified and unclassified) enabling Canadian representatives and friendly nations to discuss defense electronics and information operations issues, programs, and initiatives.

Topics can include Information Operations; Modeling and Simulation; ELINT; UAV/UCAV Payloads; Radar/EW; Joint Suppression of Enemy Air Defenses; Navigation Warfare; Intelligence, Surveillance, & Reconnaissance (ISR); Spacecraft and Satellite Protection and Time Sensitive Targeting; Homeland Security; Passive and Covert Radar; EW and IO fundamentals; and many other subjects of interest.

The on-going need for Electronic Warfare and Information Operations systems and capabilities is a quickly evolving requirement for Canadian defence and national security. The Maple Leaf Chapter supports its members in rising to this challenge.

Members of the Maple Leaf Chapter have access to all of the AOC corporate membership benefits.
